All applicants for the Southeast and Southwest Quadrant Resident seats will be interviewed: Rodney Caudillo and Willie Harris for Southeast, and Gloria Juarez for Southwest.

The vacancies on the Growth Management Oversight Commission are for the following seats:
* Representative of local educational interests (1 seat)
* Resident of the southeast quadrant (1 seat)
* Resident of the southwest quadrant (1 seat)

Local Education Representative Seat
Chula Vista Municipal Code section 2.40.040(B) states that "one member shall represent local educational interests."

At the City Council meeting of November 10, 2015, the following individuals received two or more nominations and have been invited to interview for the Local Education Representative seat on the Growth Management Oversight Commission:

- Rodney Caudillo (also eligible for the Southeast Quadrant Resident seat)
- Gregory Hall
- Willie Harris (also eligible for the Southeast Quadrant Resident seat)
- Duaine Hooker
- Leslie Pham
- Roderick Reinhart

Hector Fernandez was also nominated to interview but has declined to do so as he was appointed to the Parks & Recreation Commission on November 17, 2015.

Southeast Quadrant Resident Seat
Chula Vista Municipal Code section 2.40.040(B) states that four members are appointed from the City's four residential quadrants. The southeast quadrant is defined as "South of L Street/Telegraph Canyon Road/Otay Lakes Road and east of La Media Road."
