On January 9, 2018, the City Council set a date and time to interview to following applicants for the vacant Environmental Representative Seat on the Growth Management Oversight Commission: Mary Ann Saponara, Andrew Strong, and Sassan Rahimzadeh.

Environmental Determination
The Development Services Director has reviewed the proposed activity for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and has determined that this activity is not a “Project” as defined under Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines because it will not result in a physical change to the environment; therefore, pursuant to Section 15060(c)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines, the actions proposed are not subject to CEQA.

The vacancy on the Growth Management Oversight Commission is for the following seat:
§ Environmental Representative - to replace Eric Mosolgo
Per Chula Vista Municipal Code (CVMC) section 2.40.040(B)(4), “One member shall represent environmental interests.”
