SUMMARY
In an effort to address the needs of the various departments/divisions occupying the Economic Department and Housing/Neighborhood Services offices, staff is proposing the addition of a new permanent full time Senior Fiscal Office Specialist position to provide fiscal and general administrative support to the Economic Development Department (including Cultural Arts, Real Property Management, Office of Sustainability, Conservation and Environmental Services) as well as Development Services' Housing/Neighborhood Services Division. The duties are currently being handled by a full time hourly staff member that is fully offset by non-general fund resources.

The Director of Development Services has reviewed the proposed activity for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and has determined that the activity is not a "Project" as defined under Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines; therefore, pursuant to Section 15060(c)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines, the activity is not subject to CEQA. Thus, no environmental review is required.
