SUMMARY
Staff is requesting Council approval of City participation in SDG&E's Power Your Drive Program, authorizing staff to work with the City attorney to execute the necessary documents - Site Host Participation Agreement and Easement for the installation and placement of the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging units at select City facilities. These EV chargers will be for fleet vehicles and employee vehicles, assisting the City in meeting our fleet alternative vehicle goals and employee alternative commuting goals within our City Operations Sustainability Plan and Climate Action Plan.

The Director of Development Services has reviewed the proposed project for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and has determined that the project qualifies for a Class 3 Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15303 (New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures) of the State CEQA Guidelines. Thus, no further environmental review is required.
