Environmental Determination
The Director of Development Services has reviewed the proposed project for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and has determined that the project, which consists of removing debris and blockages, spot repairs, and lining of existing CMP storm drain pipes at various locations, qualifies for a Class 1 Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) of the State CEQA Guidelines because the proposal involves negligible or no expansion of an existing use, and all work will be done within existing City of Chula Vista right-of-way.
