SUMMARY
In 2013, the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) Office of Audit Services (OAS) conducted a public agency review for the City of Chula Vista to determine whether the City complied with applicable sections of the California Government Code, California Code of Regulations and its contract with CalPERS.

As a result of OAS's findings and recommendations, staff is submitting the revised Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Compensation Schedules effective August 9, 2013 and November 29, 2013 as required by California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 2, Section 570.5.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The activity is not a "Project" as defined under Section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines; therefore, pursuant to State Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3) no environmental review is required.

DISCUSSION
In 2013, the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) Office of Audit Services (OAS) conducted a public agency review for the City of Chula Vista to determine whether the City complied with applicable sections of the California Government Code, California Code of Regulations and its contract with CalPERS.
