SUMMARY
On October 21, 2015 the Director of Public Works received Three (3) sealed bids for the "Roof Replacement at Chula Vista Parkway Gymnasium and Pool" (PR317) project. The project is included in the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget. The source of funds is a State of California Housing Related Parks (HRP) Program grant awarded on September 10, 2012 and one-time funding from the TUT Common Fund. The proposed resolution, if approved would award the contract Roof Construction in the amount of $162,649.

The project is included in the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget. The source of funds is a State of California Housing Related Parks (HRP) Program grant awarded on September 10, 2012 in the amount of $488,400 and one-time funding from the TUT Common Fund. The second resolution, would appropriate $23,400 of HRP funds to PR317 to equal the awarded HRP grant amount.


ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The Project qualifies for a Class 1 Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) of the California Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines.
