SUMMARY
On August 2, 2016, Council approved the Resolution of Intention to form Community Facilities District No. 16-I and the Resolution of Intention to Incur a Bonded Indebtedness of CFD No. 16-I and set the public hearing for September 13, 2016.

Community Facilities District No. 16-I ("CFD No. 16-I" or "District") will fund the acquisition or construction of certain public facilities serving property within the Millenia master planned community. Tonight's action will continue the formal proceedings leading to the establishment of Community Facilities District No. 16-I and the authorization, subject to the approval of the qualified electors, to levy special taxes within each improvement area and incur bonded indebtedness for each improvement area secured by the levy of such special taxes. In addition, Council will consider approving the form of the Acquisition/Finance Agreement (the "Agreement") with SLF IV - Millenia, LLC that establishes the procedure for acquiring the improvements to be constructed by the developer.
