SUMMARY
On June 2, 2015, October 13, 2015 and October 4, 2016, City Council approved the year one, year two, and year three agreement, respectively, between the City and Community Health Improvement Partners for funding, through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) program, to promote healthy eating and physical activity to Latinos living in Chula Vista's 91910 and 91911 zip codes. This action will approve year four funding for staff time to further develop policies and plans supporting healthy food access.
