SUMMARY
The F Street Promenade Streetscape Master Plan ("Project") is an approximately 1.25 mile long segment of F Street from Third Avenue to Bay Boulevard (Attachment 1, Project Location). The project will create a Master Plan and 30% Design Development Construction Documents for a "Promenade" that will link the City's downtown Village District and Civic Center with the City's future Bayfront. This linkage will provide an opportunity to create synergy between these two distinct areas of the City and create better access to all. The need for a streetscape plan along this roadway segment in the Urban Core is identified in both the City's General Plan and further described as an implementation project in the Urban Core Specific Plan. Funding for the Project is made possible through a TransNet Active Transportation Grant (ATGP) the City received from The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) in 2015.

This item requests City Council approval of a Two-Party Agreement for Landscape Architecture design services for the Project.
