SUMMARY
On June 2, 2015 and October 13, 2015, City Council approved the year one and year two agreement, respectively, between the City and Community Health Improvement Partners for funding through the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) program to promote healthy eating and physical activity to Latinos living in Chula Vista's 91910 and 91911 zip codes. This action will approve year three funding in the amount of $30,007 for staff time to further develop policies and plans supporting healthy food access.
